Winning the multimedia award with Emma and Morgan this week in the 2009 AAC Awareness story contest reminded me about my 2008 entry to the ISAAC AAC Awareness Week. I wrote a story which my lovely friend Mel Smith illustrated. I didn’t win then but the UK entries were judged by Communication Matters and I was lucky enough to get an award in the teenage category. I then got to read my entry at 10 Downing Street!
